It is situated in a wooded valley adjacent to the owner’s farmhouse.The cottage is approximately 20 minutes’ drive from Haverfordwest. 30 minutes from the nearest beach and 5 miles from Llys y Fran Country Park with its lake, trout fishing, walks, restaurant and shop. Other more energetic pursuits such as horse riding and river fishing are all available in the area.

We had an excellent long weekend away, a quiet location in the middle of many places worth visiting, from St David’s to the west to Tenby and Underfoot to the south, it’s similarly central for many beaches. This really suited us, a couple with two miniature dachshunds who are used to a quiet life.
The weather was poor but the heating was set to be on and the cottage was very warm and comfortable. We also made good use of the Wi-Fi. Local pubs were recommended and proved to be very dog friendly. The community pub Tafern Sinc at RoseBush served a decent steak and more than tolerated our hypervigilant dachshunds in the bar (sawdust) end of the pub.”

“We had a lovely stay at this cottage. It’s very quiet and peaceful and we enjoyed sitting outside and looking out at the gardens and woodland in the evenings. The cottage had everything we needed. The drives to nearby towns and attractions are very scenic and easy. We found this to be a good base to explore Pembrokeshire.”

“Absolute bliss! Completely relaxing and as stated a get away from every day hustle and bustle. Even our dog was relaxed whereas usually he’s stuck to our heels in a new place he was happy to lie in his bed and watch. Margaret was lovely welcoming and helpful and we enjoyed taking her dog Evan for walks with ours. The cottage is clean and tidy with no unnecessary frills and fluff… just enough for everything you need to be comfortable. I even managed to sleep a full night which never happens! Definitely one to return to next year”
